Above is the picture of our hauls in Bangkok Trip (2023). More than half of them was come from Big-C Supermarket in Chit Lom.
Chit Lom is a very good place for visit - Chicken Rice, a variety of shopping malls, a famous buffet - Copper and Big-C Supermarket. This is one of the location that we have included in our both 2023 and 2024 itineraries.
We simply went by BTS from Asoke to Chit Lom during peak hours.
When we arrived Chit Lom station in the morning, I took a big empty luggage to Water Gate to have chicken rice for breakfast. We planned to try "Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice" but they were too crowd and then we tried the chicken rice next to this.
Therefore, it was the first time we tried "Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice".
The shop is in Pink colour, easy to identify and I could not see many people.
The whole meal just spent us less than HKD 40.00 (probably USD 5 to 6)
I have eaten a bit before I took this picture.
Honestly a bit disappointed about the taste of the chicken rice. The milk tea was good but the chicken was not fresh enough.
By the way, it was so cheap and cost USD 1.6 only for a dish of chicken rice. So still worth to try as a tourist.
After a big breakfast, we go shopping in Big C Supermarket.
Tourists from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong like shopping in Big-C for Thailand snacks and foods, which can be souvenirs for friends and family.
In my opinion, some foods are quite special, such as Pretz (Tom Yum Gong Taste), Dried durian, Koala's March Thailand Version.......
Whether I wanted to buy or not, I still have to carry.
No worry if you have bought too much, as you can buy a luggage, or languages.
Liza's toothpaste. Actually we can buy this in Hong Kong but my wife still put them into the trolley.
Finally the whole luggage was occupied and we needed to carry two more shopping bags.
"Why don't you put the snacks into the luggage?"
After a big breakfast, we go shopping in Big C Supermarket.

"It is full", I said.
When my wife was paying the bill, I tried my whatever effort to put as many items as I could, and close the luggage, carry the extra bags. And then I have to go back to hotel by myself first to put down all the matters. Otherwise, I cannot continue my journey.
Before we moved to other places, let share more about the malls in Chit Lom in next chapter. In my opinion, apart from Asoke and Siam, Chit Lom is also a good and convenient place that we can consider to stay if we come to Bangkok again.
